Adult Ministries at Greater Gresham

Jesus called His followers to a more abundant life; a life beyond the grind. However, to receive this full life, God must TRANSFORM our lives into new creations. This transformation comes from our belief in Christ's death, burial and resurrection and our submission to follow the teachings of the Bible (God's Word). Romans 12:2 says that we will be transformed by the renewing of our minds, which sums up the purpose of Adult Ministries. Our goal is to help each person become a disciple of Jesus.  Where each person has a growing relationship with God (Up), with others in a small group (In) and in reaching out to the world with the love of Jesus (Out).

We also believe an essential part of transformation is to study God's Word with other people! The Bible is clear that we are supposed to be in community with fellow believers, sharing life and meals (Acts 2:42-47) and spurring one another on in love (Hebrews 10:24-25). Below are some opportunities to do just that! We know you will be able to find a group that's just right for you!

Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) are small groups that meet each Saturday night and Sunday morning. All ABF's are designed for new people to jump in on any weekend. No cost or previous Bible knowledge is required and on Sunday you can leave your children in their class while you attend yours. Bible study is available for all ages; we believe God can move in each life, from the smallest toddler to the most senior adult!
